Silver Fabrication
with Cindy J Cook
Saturday and Sunday January 7th-8th 10am-4pm
Learn to cut, file, make a bezel, and set a stone in silver. During the first day of this workshop students will complete many basic metalsmithing techniques in copper. On the second day students will design, create, and finish a silver pendant.

Lost Wax
with Matt Balint
Saturday January 14th 10am-4pm
Learn the basic skills necessary to carve in hard wax or sculpt in soft wax. Students make a ring or pendant in wax with or without a stone. At the end of class students have the option to have their piece cast in Sterling Silver or 14K Gold and finished for an additional fee based on the metal market.

Earrings in a Day

Sunday January 15th 10am-4pm
Come make a finished pair of sterling silver earrings in a day! Learn metalsmithing skills such as punching out disk, texturing, forming, soldering and polishing. A great one day intensive workshop where students leave with a finished piece.

Etching
with Cindy J Cook
Friday February 24th 10am – 4pm
Learn the process of etching where you will use acid to cut your scribed designs into unprotected areas of metal. Complete many copper and a silver piece which you can turn into a finished design. A great way to add texture to your work!

Water Casting
with Mylissa Corlew
Saturday February 25th 10am – 4pm
Come play with molten silver. Water casting consist of pouring molten silver into water. Each cast comes out unique and different depending on the height of the pour, the amount of silver and the swirl of the water.

Soldering Sampler
with Cindy J Cook
Sunday February 26th 10am-4pm
Learn to solder. In this workshop you will learn a variety of soldering techniques and become comfortable working with a torch. You will leave this class with a variety of copper and silver jewelry samples.

Forging
with Stephen LeBlanc
Saturday and Sunday March 17th-18th 10am–4pm
Come learn one of the oldest know metal working processes. Use localized compressive forces to shape metal. In this workshop many techniques will be demonstrated and explored in bronze using a variety of hammers at the anvil.

Enameling
with Cindy J Cook
Saturday March 24th 10am–4pm
In this workshop you will explore the art of Enameling, the process of fusing finely ground glass to metal. You will learn the basics of how to apply a ground and fuse it to copper in a kiln. You will explore different techniques including sgraffito, stenciling and cloisonné.

Ring in a Day

Sunday March 25th 10am-4pm
Learn basic metalsmithing techniques as you fabricate your very own silver ring. In one day you will pick one of two designs, cut, form, solder and finish a completed project that you can proudly wear home.

Silversmithing for Beaders

This class is designed especially for beaders. Learn to make your own findings and how to use basic metalsmithing techniques like piercing and soldering to enhance your work. Learn to use a jewelers saw, a torch and much much more!

Riveting

Saturday April 21st 10am-4pm
Learn to make cold connections in metal using rivets. In this workshop you will explore and learn how to make different types of rivets including flush, tube and decorative and incorporate them into your jewelry work.

Potato Casting

Sunday April 22nd 10am-4pm
Create a sterling silver lost wax casting using the steam from a potato! In this workshop you will get to carve wax, invest and play with molten metal which will be forced into your mold by using a potato.

Linked Bracelets

Sunday May 13th 10am-4pm
Watch demonstrations and explore different types of linked chain bracelets. You will learn how to create jump rings, solder and fuse rings and make samples which include the Egyptian Spiral, Idiots Delight and Etruscan Weave.

Lunch break during workshops is 30 minutes. Bring a packed lunch or cash for ordering delivery. A selection of menus will be available.
The maximum class size is limited to 6 students so register fast to reserve your space! Minimum class size is 2 students. If less than 2 students sign up, the workshop will be cancelled. Notice and refund will be given one week prior to the workshop date.
All students will sign a waiver at the start of the workshop. Students who are under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parental guardian.
